My issue is that people are saying it's the best game ever, when it's only been out for 3 months, I can guarantee you in a year nobody will talk about this game as much.
The later two Five Nights at Freddie's and anything by Talltale "games" (western visual novels)
I'll agree with Undertale being alright, but not the next Earthbound.

Anyway, I'd say the most overrated game has to be FNAF and it's sequels. They weren't interesting and they only sold because of "lore" and jumpscares which stopped being scary after the first time.

The fact that it's not a horribly broken mess doesn't mean it has "good" gameplay, the gameplay is boring and repetitive as fuck, the only challenge coming from new moves that don't give you enough time to react if you don't know what's happening, which you might think is an amazing and cool mechanic if this was your first ever video game.

I'm about 2 hours in now and I don't see the hype so far.
It has a neat Idea with the danmaku elements in an RPG, but that comes at the cost of characterbuilding and so far they really haven't done much with the system, except the papyrus boss battle.
