As far as I'm concerned, Nis peaked with Soul Nomad, with Phantom Brave and Makai Kingdom a bit behind. They've released a few good games post-PS2, but not a whole lot. Probably because a lot of their best talent left.

i felt bad for her on the demon path beacuse trica became her reason for living once she got revenge . after she dies, she just lost her reason for living and just hopes someone kills her.
I actually liked the normal path more. Gig seizing the chance to take Revya's body at the end, but only using it to massacre the bad guys and knowingly kill himself really hit me. Also the Levin twist was crazy.

ZHP is probably around 6 for me, but only because it requires more core story grinding than other NIS games and because it's a genre I'm less fond of. Probably a better game than Disgaea 1 and 2, but I prefer them.

I never connected to it, a bunch of the evil happens offscreen and in timeskips. That and the low production value the game had never made it obvious what you were doing so I spent more time trying to figure out what I was doing to child slaves than being horrified at what I was doing to child slaves.
