All the weapons require random nonsense. In most MH you just hunt one monster for parts, my Tigrex hammer needed 4 niblesnarf claws+. I like hunting Tigrex but I hate niblesnarf, I don't want to hunt him, and after breaking both his claws twice and getting 0 I had to abandon my Tigrex hammer.

What would I have to do to put homebrew on it? What would that let me do? Would I download games like MHX through torrent and then put it on an sd card and into the 3ds? What about the English patch?

I can't stand playing MH on 3DS. I like MH4U but I didn't play it nearly as much as MH3U (or FU on emulator) because I had to play it on 3DS.

I play it with friends(whose first MH game was 4U on 3ds or whatever latest US release was).
From what I've seen theres maps from the ps2 and psp games that I started MH with so thats nice to see them again. Even if its the same shit again, we've taken a long enough break that it will still be fun and somewhat refreshing to be back to some 3-man coop again.

There's one new area and the styles/arts add almost nothing, sure they look flashy but gameplay-wise it's just "pushing a button to awesome" or rolling into the enemy.
The masterpiece that was MH4U released not one year ago, I don't need to play P3rd's hacky attempt at being almost good. I do look forward to MH5 fixing it like 3U saved Zinogre.

3DS XLs are perfectly sized for man hands, clawing hasn't been a thing since 2007, and you have a weird idea of how screens work.
