It's an incredibly funny game. There's one moment in the final episode that's easily the funniest thing I've ever seen in a videogame. The entire thing is pretty solid too, and beneath all the jokes there's still a pretty neat story.

I paid 10$ for it. It was alright. My problem with this game and the series in particular is the use of current "jokes" if you get what I'm saying. I don't find them funny and I don't think many will realize what they are when they try to play (or replay) this down the line.
I have to admit the writing can be amusing at times, but I'm not a fan of the world. Reference humour is used pretty often, and I don't like a world that is built on referencing other works. It feels cheap, especially when the writers try to be serious after the fact.
Also this "game", despite looking like shit, surprisingly runs like shit on every console I've tried it on. Especially the later episodes, where the application might as well be a PowerPoint slideshow set to 1 slide every second.
If you like dark humour, reference humour, and a rather forced romantic interest, you'll like this title. That is to say it's not awful, but it isn't the greatest thing since sliced bread, either.

Byt apples are way better than pears
First episode is really, really good but it's mostly buildup and they don't have an opportunity to fuck anything up on that stage. First half is a bit slow for the same reason but it gets progressively better after the two protagonists meet up. Everything's neat.
Second is even better. They don't have to explain everything about everything anymore so they can concentrate on the fun parts and it really shows. Fiona's parts, however, were pretty boring - not bad, but boring.
Three is where it all takes a dive. It has probably the best intro in all of five episodes but nothing actually cool is going on until the last five minutes or so (Rhys trying to dodge August's bullet was hilarious though). Again, it's not really bad and there are some interesting lines... but nothing fucking happens. It's filler.
Four gets back on track. You're finally doing things and they get intense, you tell jokes and they are funny, you can beat up Yvette and be a general douchebag to everyone - just like an actual Hyperion executive you pretend to be. Oh, and finger guns. Fucking finger guns, it's amazing.
Five is a bit of a mixed bag. It starts really heavy but I felt that the whole Jack thing was kind of rushed. It didn't have the weight it was supposed to have, it left me thinking "hey, is this it? That's all?" Fiona taking out the Vault wasn't particularly captivating either. Oh, Sasha's dead. Oh no she isn't. August's dead - nope. Can't even remember what happened to Vallory. All in all, the first half didn't really pack a punch despite the fact that you were solving problems you were trying to solve for the last four episodes. It wasn't a satisfying conclusion.
Second half gets better. The approach to the boss fight was great, it's probably the second funnest QTE in the game. Sasha's "death" however was kind of tacked on. Ooh, she's dead again - nope she isn't, haha, tricked ya. Like, what's the purpose? Did she really have to not-die again?

Epilogue's mostly there for its cliffhanger. You have an opportunity to describe your character's possible future but it obviously won't matter if they actually get to work on a sequel. Still, it's worth it to see the end.
All in all, I really liked the game but I can't deny it didn't have some weak spots here and there. Some of those spots are, of course, a matter of taste and preference but you get the idea.

To accomplish the task of mentioning gay shit in games without shoehorning it, you need to basically be able to describe/advertise the game without mentioning that content. If as a media creator, you can't even do that. You may as well be handing pamphlets like the Uni kid activist shits do.
My main issue was how Fiona, Rhys, and Sasha didn't have a proper conversation together to hash out their issues in the last episode.
I played Rhys as kind of naive and power hungry from the start, though with a good heart, and while he got along great with the sisters for the most part they still didn't trust him by the end because of him accepting the Hyperion presidency.
And yet they still go from treating him like shit (Fiona) and deliberately ignoring his existence (Sasha) to acting like best pals by the last episode, despite not actually having a chance to talk and come to an understanding. Fuck, I even had to go out of my way to make sure there wasn't any definite romance growing between him and Sasha due to their differences - the mere fact I had the option to have Fiona push for it after their unresolved personal feud is just shitty writing.
I don't have any issue with the fact that the game is structured as such that no matter how you act you'll have roughly the same major story points every time you go through it, but the way the final episode is really obviously written with players who played Rhys as a flawless goody two shoes in mind annoys the piss out of me. I enjoyed it, even if it had low points and some shit that made me dislike a bit the game, playing as two characters seems retarded as you will answer your opinion about yourself basically, like solitaire, it would have been better if you just played as one or the other, not both, the soundtrack is amazing, every theme from every chapter is good, and Handsome Jack is still a big asshole, sadly it's one asshole that they push as trying to be someone friendly you can trust, which shows that they could have done something and they didn't choose to do it, play it, enjoy it once, and don't play it again.
