Did I fuck up, /v/?
I've never owned a "gaming" mouse before, but my old Asus mouse broke and I impulse bought this on Boxing Day,
My hand's currently on that same mouse, and I've had it for 3 years and never had an issue with it.
It depends on what you plan on using it for, but it's a pretty durable minimalist mouse.

The only half decent gaming mouse for lefties
>>322060097
Nothing wrong with Death Adder or Lachesis. They're durable, have all the features you need, and have decent enough DPI.
The important thing about mice, though, is how comfortable they are to you.
If you like it, then congrats. If you don't, you fucked up.
I'm pretty impressed at how there are two buttons on the side
Before I only had three buttons, but now I have five, so my productivity has basically almost tripled in some games
I've used 2 deathadders in 2 years. The first lasted 6 months without problems, the second had issues after 2 months. Left click died on both, middle click died on one and mwheel stopped working on the other.
It's one of the best mice for it's general feel, but the build quality is cheap as fuck and I'd expect something more durable out of something that costs so much.

i had one for quite a while till my cinchilla chewed the wire not too long ago. It had lasted me a few years and i dont doubt it would have lasted another few years had a rodent not gotten to it.
Razer takes a lot of flak for a good reason, but they do make a few solid products none the less, and this is effeminately one of them
Deathadder is OK, though at this point you should have got the Steelseries Rival instead. Just a better sensor.

Those are ok. Razer does make a ton of craps, but those and Naga are all right. I would only wince a little at Mamba chroma, but it's not pig disgusting or anything.
razer deathadder is literally the only quality razer product at all they make
headsets, keyboards, fightstick, mice, mousepads, etc.
Everything they do, someone does better for cheaper. Deathadder is actually a solid mouse with a great sensor so you got lucky OP

arguable, both great
>>322060097
>>322060097
>Steelseries Rival
>Deathadder Chroma
You could have chosen Logitech G502 Proteus Core at Canuckland Best Buy for $60 ($43USD) as well. It's got weight tuning.
Razer is generally considered to be pretty shitty, but I've never had a problem with the deathadders and I love the shape of them.
Just don't install Synapse
>>322060310
You type with one hand?
>>322061242
Those were the three I considered along with some Zowies at Ncix, I picked at random because I can't tel the difference
>>322061527
I hate that Synapse app. I must have it for full functionality on my naga. Don't bother if you don't need it.

Shit too late, damage report?
This is my favorite gaming mouse #trackpad4lyfe
>>322060730
You can replace the omron switches which burn out in them.
I know that this Is off-topic, but what about the other peripherals? If razer is shit, what are some decent and cheap options?
>>322060097
Looks like my Mamba, i don't know what's the difference between the two aside from the led on the logo, if it's like the mamba you are going to be fine, it's a great and comfy mouse without shit ton of buttons.
I personally use an Ouroboros, because I love me some wired/wireless options.
>>322061730
You can still uninstall it.
>>322060730
I hope you didn't throw them away.
my favorite mouse
rip just decided to not turn on anymore plugged in
>>322060097
I've had the regular 2013 version for ~20 months and middle click is starting to get unresponsive. Still some warranty left so probably going to try to change it to a new one soon.
Mouse thread?
How is mine? I'm basically OP.
Nothing beats it.
DA's are pretty decent. I had a 3.5g BE that I used for two years or so and really liked it. I've been through like 3 other mice since then just to change things up, but I would get a DA again for sure.

this desu senpai
I recently got this one. Feels good
