He's full of shit. Very, very few people predicted that Holly would be the one to defeat Ronda. Holm's previous UFC fights were lackluster at best. Many people did recognize the holes in Ronda's standup game (mainly that she eats punches in every fight on her way into the clinch), but to act like everyone saw her getting ktfo by a headkick is retarded.
Her career is far from over, the rematch will do insane numbers. Every single top level MMA fighter gets beaten at some point, that's not really an issue. The problem she faces is that if she loses the rematch (and she likely will), she says she's quitting the sport altogether. If she wants to beat Holm she needs to take some major time off and fix some of her game and allow her brain to heal, but she has a bunch of obligations (filming two movies for starters) that are going to take away from her time and focus to do so. The UFC is pushing for an immediate rematch and I think it's a bad idea.
All in all I think her losing was great for the sport because it gave many casual fans a reality check. Anyone can and will lose at some point and attitude and persona don't mean shit in a cage fight.
