PS3, it's in actual HD and runs smoothly. You can get it for 14 bucks on PSN.
I'd recommend to emulate it, but there's tons of graphical glitches abound.

It's really set up to control fine with a controller, don't see why you'd need a tablet. The only problem I ever had was with the character you draw in the city for the tee shirt guy

Dungeons are linear as fuck compared to Zelda and every puzzle was extremely easy.

Honestly the second Orochi fight's only issue was that it was THE EXACT SAME as the first Orochi fight.
It wouldn't have taken much to make it interesting.

First, it being a 3D ds game meant the graphics sucked. Less brush technices, overall shorter. Didnt continue where Okami ended.Also I didnt like the children.
