I don't know why people bitch about tipping. And yes people tip in euro/uk.

>tipping
Such a ridiculous, American thing. Isn't it enough to have to see you tip your fedora?
>>322032521
We picked up the habit from your mother. She begs us all for just the tip.

>And yes people tip in euro/uk
Not the fucking pizza guy
>>322032351
Not in fucking percentages like amerikeks.
>inb4 le don't eat out if you can't afford to tip someone 30 bucks for grabbing a plate and walking meme

Not the pizza guy
We don't tip on someone just for doing their job, only when we are in large groups becuase they have to suffer us more than usual
Their boss is going to make them share their tips or shit like that anyway
>>322032193
I just give them an even 20 and let them keep the change.
Want more tip? Lower the price. Pizza's worth 20 max.
>>322032193
Pizza guys in the states don't ask for tips.
I would think Europeans, of all people, would be accustomed to concepts like "cultural differences".

I never understood why fantasy games that take place in what may as well be Britain do the 1 gold = 100 silver thing when Britain didn't decimalize their currency until the 70s.

If we're doing this off of real-world 'Murican conversion rates I could get like 5 or 6 Red Baron pizzas for that much.
And they'd probably taste better.

Because they will remember your address for the next time and take an hour to deliver your pizza, probably even spit in it as well.

THANK YOU
Wish this would catch on here- it's how it used to be handled. A tip was given *before* service as an incentive for good service and as some thanks for dealing with a larger group or a table you wanted given more attention.
"TIP" is an acronym: to improve performance.
I live in NYC and we are starting to have restaurants in Manhattan getting rid of tipping. Paying them minimum wage instead of expecting customers to pick up their tab.
Of course, the rare time I go out for drinks, if I'm just getting one or two then there is no fucking way I'm tipping someone who handing me glasses. I've gotten shut out by a bartender when I asked for water because I didn't tip the ungrateful fuck. Gave me the finger when I insulted him, bounced told me to leave even though he instigated it. College bars are the fucking worst.
