Problem I had with that was it didn't look all that intense.
You just kind of quickly tap enemies from torso height and they react as though it's a full on strike.
It would be cool to see a game where the bash was useful in tight corridors where strikes couldn't be made. Also making the strikes more brutal, overhead and to the enemies face for instance. Seeing teeth fly and shit.

In Condemned you can bash people with the hilt of your gun

My god, /v/ will drown in a sea of whiners and "git gud" responses when this comes out. Played the alpha and it's fast as fuck while every attack is rather slow and weighty. The block & parry system actually takes a lot of skill unlike the Souls shit. It's like if Souls PVP would require you to block in the right direction (middle, left, right) and your opponent is constantly changing the angle.
