My favourite Final Fantasy is the first because it contains the least padding and generally lacks a lot of the JRPG bullshit the others have.

This is 99% a joke but still not a bad answer.
Combat is pretty good and progression ie accessories and skill unlocks is well done and paced.
The story isn't to everyone's taste though and the way 100% is achieved is for sure convoluted as fuck. Still, the characters are actually pretty good.

I was just surprised how much hate x-2 gets when it's a solid fun lighthearted game with tons of content.

My honest to God opinion about X-2
Complete freedom, Good VA, Improved graphics and facial expressions, at least most of the time, Much more enjoyable atmosphere, Hot spings scene, Massage scene, Beautiful OST, Amazing FMVs with possibly the best CGI quality I've ever seen, WHAT CAN I DO FOR YOU?, Rikku, LeBlanc YuRiPa synergy, Intense and engaging battle system
And now for XIII-2
Upgraded combat becomes more fun while losing some depth, Great Characters, Paradox endings, Caius, Great world-design, Exceptional OST, YES I THINK I CAN RIDE THIS CHOCOBO, Great graphics, Meanie miss Farron is cute, Intro cinematic is mind-bendingly fantastic, Entire intro sequence is perfect, Heart-wrenching ending that makes me feel like I'm gonna need to buy dlc

Even though she's not my favourite character, she's the one I'd like to see in full 3D the most for some reason. It's a shame that even if a new FFV character makes it in Dissidia arcade, it'll either be Faris or Galuf. I mean I'm fine with both, I'd like to see them too but still.I just want to see all of them for fuck's sake, just make them alts for Bartz or something, I don't know.
