I've come to realize that a lot of video games, including almost every major release, are really just a series of chores attached to subpar story.
While I haven't given up on games entirely, I really only play multiplayer with friends, and simple games where the moment to moment gameplay is actually fun (i.e. shmups, good puzzle games etc.)
You grew up and it's time to move on from this childish hobby.

Get some friends together and play multiplayer games. Or, get some multiplayer games and make some friends.

I just stick to some multiplayer games and some puzzle games these days, I occasionally pick the game of the month in /v/ and have some fun with it, but other than that gaming has been pretty miserable for me lately, I'm not interested in any of the upcoming games, I have a decent library of games but none of them seem fun. However video games and movies are not against the bible. If you don't like it you don't like it. My Uncle is a huge Christian and I have friends that watch and own stuff. It isn't on par with paganistic believing. However certain Christians will have certain ways of beliving their Christianity. Which is why I said weaker, it's definitely not their worst but it's still outclassed by their other games. MGR sure had a lot great stuff and potential but if you 100%ed it / tried to 100% it you get to face a bunch of the issues it has like how slow it is to change weapons, the god awful camera/lock-on system and the parry / subweapons that rely on that broken camera/lock-on system. (especially when you have fucking missions based entirely around using those subweapons.)
