I remember like 3 or 4 years ago, it was just a handful of us hanging around in the Smash 4 thread, talking about random shit and cracking jokes.
Then the game was released, all the kiddies flooded the board, and we got a fuckton of PC mods who will ban you if yoy disagree with the common opinion, or if they're just tired of all the newbies spamming the report button on you cause you offended them.
It's really aggravating too cause everyone acts like a higher post count = veteranship, yet I basically outdate all the mods and everyone else. All the cool people left too, I still keep in touch with a couple of them through facebook or email, but really, there's no point in even going back anymore.
I.miss the good times I had with the old gang, now it's gone to absolute shit tho.
On that same vein OP, 4chan. This place also used to be a lot better a good 7/8 years ago.
For similar reasons, PC culture ruined 4chan too.

I played it, it was cool, it had feels, kind of restored hope to a jaded guy who thought he'd never find anyone, it also let you fuck crippled girls. All in all okay.
Then like, five years later I go there... and it's still up.
These guys don't even talk about the game anymore. They talk about anything at all apart from waifus and what they did on that day. Maybe some extra content in the far far future.
