Based off of these babys right here, so the driver sound is awesome, mic isn't bad either. Good gaming headset, but everyone else will tell you to get a headphone + mic combo because their autistic audiophile mindset. If you like a mix of good quality, longevity, and price then get a Logitech G930. $79 wireless headset with 7.1 surround dound and legit 10 hour battery life and easy charge station. About 80 feet distance too and comfy. I love mine and most of my friends use it too.

I have the HyperX Cloud 1, it's the best headset I've ever owned. Of course you get better quality from some senheisers and a desk mic, but that's more expensive and if you have a mechanical keyboard everyone can hear you clacking away like this retard in our skype calls who refuses to buy a headset mic. Also super comfy.

I have a pair. They're very nice, and block out a lot of sound. The mic doesn't pick up a whole lot of background noise either, compared to some other 'gaming headphones'.
I just prefer the combo myself. Easy to work with since I'm usually moving around a lot and talking to people at the same time when I'm not playing a game.

The first Cloud is considered to be one of the best gaming headsets of all time. Don't buy the II's, their usb dac is complete shit and the headphones are basically the same.

Got a cloud II this black friday. $60 or maybe even like $50 on newegg. They're quite nice, a thick cord and removable cups,7 1 surround. The sound card sound control is really shitty because it takes ages to change the sound and it makes a fucking blutooth style beep with every press, so I use my keyboards control.
Idk if it's just me, but these things are fucking loud. Like, my system master sound on 6-8 out of 100 loud. If I max my sound level the damn thing becomes a set of speakers.
