I was thinking of getting a PS3 now as I was worried that they would start going of sale by the end of the year, but if they are still around then I could wait and purchase a PS3 later on when they are even cheaper and just enjoy the new titles as they come out I guess.
I just thought it would be confusing to play games like the new metal gear or the new final fantasy without having played any of the previous titles.
