I'm not making another seasonal hero. Thanks to the removal of exclusive seasonal legendaries (or rather making them not exclusive anymore), I don't have to spread the grind over several characters and can focus on my main one, without being left out.

Class set mastery? doing them gets pretty unique rewards and the wings you get from the mastery are pretty dank. Also the 5 extra stash space is 100% tied to seasonal only, meaning you have to unlock it by doing season journey.
Crusader. Bored of Monk and Crus seems to be finally viable. Like the fact that you don't have to focus on crit too, just thorns everywhere + ias

OP here, myself I'm rolling barb. Raekor flaws finally fixed (single target charge) and constantly running out of charges on furious charge was triggering as fuck..
Group play EXP / zdps support barb is always going to be requires so i know I'm useful for my group im going with - first preference is to play DPS in group as barb but don't know whats going to be the best for group DPS

I think I'll just take my fully decked out S4 monk and grind the Gem of Ease up to 25+, then powerlevel all other classes non-season to 70 and continue as non-season. Cosmetic rewards and achievements aren't worth losing all my progress for when the next season begins.

No ones actually tested out 4 player nearly as much as solo on PTR cos of the fucking lag and the retarded ass queues. people are higher in solo than group leader boards. I mostly enjoy group play and i find it more fun when playing with friends. Makes the grindy ass shit parts of the game more enjoyable at times.

I find Diablo still highly enjoyable. I only play new seasons, and stick around for like 2 months before quitting.
I enjoy the new sets and new things they bring in, and breaking the game up into seasons just makes it more hyped up for people to play again to then shortly die off.
Nothing else to really do at this point and diablo season is the next thing really coming out.
Its enjoyable playing with friends from scrap gear/paragons is enjoyable.

New sets, new items, new builds, I like killing shit and collecting items. I don't play for the whole duration of the season, but getting the journey achivs and bottom of the leaderboard is still fun.

It just means that you don't have to delete older characters to make room for more seasonal ones. They get reset to level one and their gear gets cached when they go seasonal.
Haven't been fucked to play since end of S3. Ran a barb and went WW when viable. Could speedrun T7 rifts but wanted to get a perfect focus/restraint combo except the grind got so unbearable I had to stop because I could feel my head caving in.

A seasoned ladder for greater rifts + challenges like "complete an instance in X time" that grant you shitty prizes. What is more important is the fact that some legendaries are locked behind seasoned characters, so you HAVE to make one if you want to try some of the builds.

On the ptr, the top DH is a melee, they have a legendary dagger that adds damage to fan of knives each second capping at 30 seconds so its basically a nuke
I think she is also using the quiver that gives chakrams damage per point of hatred you have but not sure, since Vengeance got a huge buff, you can just use dark heart rune and tank everything and blow everything up.
The fan of knives build can get crits up to a trillion i think.

That's one of the flaws of D3's design. They put in a mode where you can grind nonstop very quickly for high rewards. It requires no effort or time and in a few minutes, you've gotten an assloads of XP, gold, and legendaries.

I'll probably play Crusader. Didn't play PTR and haven't really followed the patch news to figure out any new builds though. Hopefully Shield Bash and Sweep builds (IE rolands) is at least somewhat viable compared to hammers.
That or DH, to play around with the new melee stuff I've heard about.
Either way, kinda hyped for the new LoN ring set. Though I feel like it's a silly bandaid fix, while the real fix would be to nerf set bonuses to the ground, like RoS launch levels of power.
