There isn't much Bowser can do against Ryu as far as I know he's + on shield on a lot of his stuff so bowser just gets bodied. As far as the others just literally punish when they scrub approach. Learn to pivot back grab or tilt, or punish with airs/grabs out of shield. I guarantee you're not actually running into good players and are just bad. As far as Mario and Luigi, you've got no excuse. 2nd post had it right, git gud.

You expect people to not play hyper defensively in a game with no legitimate pressure options due to stripped down control mechanics and free dial a combos from grabs? That's all people have. If the game allowed you to use smooth landing like the first 2 titles did with a button press, and it had more stun on shield+aerial momentum turtling would be able to be countered, but as it is because of the stripped down game mechanics you cant do shit but wait for them to do something stupid. 3 of those 4 characters have EXTREMELY gimpable recoveries. Just smack Cloud, Roy or Falcon in the air as they try to recover. Easy as pie.
As for Ryu, bait his focuses with your FWD B. He'll think it's a good idea to focus Bowser because of the long recovery after Bowser's moves, but he can't focus a grab like Bowser's fwd B.
Also, use your fire breath to harass your opponents as they recover. Works on the characters you've listed plus several others.
Basically, don't be a pussy. Chase them off the edge.

well as a fellow bowser main my fanciest tip to you would be to master his extremely safe out of shield Up B and his ridiculous pivot grab range. Past that landing his back air can kill very early, short hopping into flame breath can be a great trap if used sparingly, and learn to land those bowser bombs to pop those shields. Your Dair gives you a little hop before it comes down and it spikes on the first couple of frames, making it great for fucking up followups if you get the chance. Just dont use it too much because Bowser takes his sweet time getting up after it, you can mix it up with Bowser Bombs if your approaching from above so they wont be sure if they can shield and punish or not. Also dont be afraid to get messy, Bowsers the heaviest character in the game and therefor can take the most advantage of the rage mechanic after Lucario. An easy way to test to see if your fighting a good Falcon or a scrub is to walk towards him and throw out an Ftilt first thing and see if he runs into it going for his grab. Really though all you can do is practice practice practice.

I could have stuck to my old mains, Yoshi and C.Falcon, but there was something about Mewtwo that made me want to be good with it.
Yes. Mewtwo is still trash, with a huge learning curve to get used to, even with the buff.
But that what makes it so much fun because you have to think outside the box, and do risky moves you would never do, with any other fighter.
But that what scares other players the most, when their fighting an unorthodox player.

Those are the most fun to fight in Smash
The game gets dull fast, when everyone choose the same characters, trying to do the same set-up flow chart because it's safe, with low risk.
I face this one Oilmar on 4Glory who was doing whatever it takes to beat my Fox, doing shit that could back fire, but the guy was giving his all.
He was able to beat me twice, while I beat him 6 times. Half of the wins was from him killing himself, trying to spike me, which work half the time.

Like I said, learn to take risk, and take every lose as a learning tool to git gud.

What work on some fighters, don't work on all.
I'm gonna just give you a few tips on how to approach with Mewtwo.
>For a common fight, test your foe by throwing out a shadowball and see how they react to it.
>If they shield, fallow behind your shadowball with a grab
>If they jump over it, go in for a dash attack
>if they are really jumpy, like a Fox or C.Falcon. Throw two shadowballs. One in the air, and one in the ground. They will try to dodge it.
Mewtwo is all about spacing, you never want to get hit.
You basically have to be Psychic like Mewtwo to see it coming.
Read them like a book, and sent them to hell.
Wish I could tell you more, be to explain everything that Mewtwo can do, will fill this thread.
Somethings are best learn though trials and errors.
