I'm about an hour or two into this, trying to do the Royal Griffin battle, and I've got one question:
Is the crossbow supposed to be some kind of a joke? It does shit for damage. Why did he give me this for this fight if the sword I already have is better? What am I supposed to do you guys?

The bow is used to pin flying animals down to the ground, it does shit damage.
It only has good damage when you use the bleeding arrows

It's useful for shooting flying monsters out of the air, or hitting precision targets like a Fiend's third eye.

Also for killing drowners underwater
The Crossbow does two thing:
Auto-lock onto flying enemies to shoot them down, and lock-on-instant-kill underwater enemies.
It's good for killing shit underwater.

Well I mean, I am pretty sure he comes down to the ground to fight anyways. I could be wrong, but I am pretty sure he will just land on the ground regardless. So why even bother popping him with the crappy Nerf gun crossbow? Seems completely obsolete as far as I'm concerned
