I read the article, get disappointed, listen to half the podcast, get frustrated because of Brad, Alex and Austin usually, then skip the video, since I don't have time for their low production videos anymore.
A year or two ago I thought Giant Bomb was the only good videogame website left, I religiously listened to the Bombcast, but now I don't feel the rush to do it anymore and I'm frankly starting to care less and less about the site and the people behind it. Their "chill guys covering games" attitude loses appeal when you realize how lazy they are.
Between taking more than a year to build the NY studio, barely shitting out any content ever because of a thousand excuses even though they have two offices, taking days off everytime there's anything happening, not properly covering game events other than jadedly talking over conferences if they feel like it, getting tons and tons of facts wrong about games they're supposed to be covering (like price, platforms, release date etc) and finally doing reviews only when they feel like it, I genuinely don't know why would anyone pay a monthly fee.
People somehow got too attached to their "personalities" and think they're helping them survive, so they support them anyway, even when they're not putting out content other than re-branded Let's Plays (Unprofessional Friday? Quick Look? Unfinished? Metal Gear Scanlon? Encyclopedia Bombastica? Ranking of Fighters? Old Games Show? Totally not Let's Plays guys!), in a slower fashion than most youtube channels these days.

Quiet wasn't much of a character anyway. Yes, she's had some scenes, when she tries to off herself after being captured by snake or the way she almost kills the motherbase soldiers for treating her like shit, but in general she's just fanservice. Knew that right from the very beginning and it didn't really change much during the game and i'm actually okay with that. Eva on MGS 3 had a purpose to be sexy, but Quiet? Not so much.
