Is there anyone on /v/ that exclusively plays newer generation (2007-present) games?

If so, what puts you off about older games? Or do you just like being up-to-date with current stuff?

Awww yeah!

>Is there anyone on /v/ that exclusively plays newer generation (2007-present) games?
Errr, guess not.
>>
Why would I play old shit I've already beaten that's aged like milk when I have a huge backlog of great modern games?

feel free to post yours if you want. I just like photos of great collections is all.

Is this not most of /v/?

>what puts you off about older games?

Usually the UI will make me rage pretty hard.
>>

Well, i can name about 50 SNES games that have aged great, and that's 4 generations ago..
>>
I'm actually kind of the opposite.

I barely play anything from seventh gen onwards.
>>
>>321956254
and you're on /v/ instead of /vr/ why..?
>>
>>321956429
Because /vr/ is a lot slower. And there's no sixth gen discussion.
>>
>>321953943
No
They expect one of is in the wreckage brother
>>
>>321956516
yeah there was a /qa/ thread about adding 6th generation support within the next few years. i feel like most of the stuff there is lumped into 'nostalgia' threads on /v/ which have slim to no actual discussion

I'm just fed up with all the BS of modern gaming. I'm playing mostly older stuff now. I started Hybrid Heaven for the first time that opening was weird as shit and I'm liking the game.

Commander Keen Episode 4 - Secret of the Oracle

Pretty much the pinnacle of old school platforming.

>you joke
Keen 4 being the best platformer of its era is no joke

There is a lot of bullshit you have to sift through in games today, but if you look hard enough you can still find good games.
