Thw websites I work for actually published a lot of articles I wrote because I felt the need to talk about some particular stuff that got ignored (like the shitty situation of Capcom right now, Square trying to fuck their customers, scandals among communities and shit), but never a review. Mostly because I'm not in touch with the PR, so I don't personally get the review codes; we have a guy who does that, and then my superiors ask us who want to review this or that game. But it never happened that I had a game they didn't already own as a review copy, so I never offered to review a title that got ignored till that moment.
I could still do it. It's another extra review, they won't lose shit.
