Game was massively successful in West and East. You won't have issues with multiplayer (in terms of finding people) until the servers are pulled.
You might get your ass beaten on ranked mode though if you don't git gud.

Getting ghost splatted by chargers who aren't even in line of sight of you, trading hits with people and you get splatted even though your weapon is more powerful and accurate than theirs, and the ever popular 'splat a roller and get splatted by their ghost 2 seconds later'.

If you play past a certain time at night its full Nippon domination. The connection to the chinks isn't too bad though, even for me in CT. The worst is when both players kill each other, takes me back to the early 2000s playing Unreal Tournament.
