Gonna start playing New Vegas for the first time. Any tips? What path should I follow? Yes Man, House or NCR? Set up my pretty sweet mod list so I'm good to go.

Hop in blind. Play hardcore mode, and just let things happen as they happen.
My first run emulated The Man With No Name, and I had a lot of fun putting myself into those shoes. Ended up pissing off nearly every faction by the time I got to Vegas, which meant I missed out on a lot of optional quests, but it was worth every moment.

I got it on the sale, I played through 3 and wasn't too impressed and figured I'd give this a try since I heard so much good shit about it. Right off the bat it's so much better, I love watching those little geckos run around, but overall its a great game and I'm having a ton of fun.
But do as the other anons say and go in blind, you should do this with every game you play though, or most anything in life. Form your own opinion

Get Early Bird and 4 Eyes and set your SPECIAL like this:
>S: 4
>P: 3
>E: 9
>C: 1
>I: 7
>A: 7
>L: 7
With Early Bird, you'll get an automatic +2 in each of those and with 4 eyes, you boost your PE again.

I just started playing today.
I'm murdering everyone I have come across, killed everyone in goodspring or wherever that doctor with the spinning head lives (I didn't kill him though, but victor had to die)
I am currently going a hitler run, I saw MATN do it so I'm determined to murder everyone.
