Apparently he explained the entire story of the game to the translator, because there were a couple of key mistranslations that made it impossible for people who played the English patch to come to the right conclusion.
The translator never finished the fixed translation, though, so we'll never know the truth.
He did reveal that Enoch and the Elsen are all human, though.
