PS3 version of the first game is worse but entirely different. Some like the story more.
Personally, I hate how much shit they cut out of it and wish they made Shin Choujigen Game Neptune or something. It could have been fixed but they decided not to bother and remade it completely with V's gameplay.
Re;Birth 2 and 3 are for the most part improved ports with a few good changes/additions.
Oh, and the Re;Births don't have Gust and Nippon-Ichi (characters) because of some bullshit between them and CH.Faggots.
