It's rather decent, probably one of the best shooters of the past few years - up there with Serious Sam 3 I think.
It's not in any way mindblowing, though the quality of writing and surprisingly good world building is not something I expected a Wolfenstein game, but it does what it needs to do really well. You shoot nazies and it feels really satisfying. Pretty art direction too.
There is not that much else to say about it. The weapon variety could have been a bit better, the storytelling aspect is occasionally a little bloated, the transitions between different locations could have been smoother, but all those are really relatively minor issues, the core gameplay is just really damn satisfying, and nothing else matters that much.
The prologue of the game is shit though. Don't let the first level mislead you, it's easily some of the worst parts of the game. It only gets better from there on.

There were several segments of Nazis just chatting about their lives before you butchered them. After the british guy blows up that building, you can see a nazi desperately trying to revive his friend.
