Being depressed isn't being sad all the time. It's like having this gigantic wall of nothing fall on top of you, and you can't crawl out from it. You can't feel anything; no emotion, no motivation, no drive, no energy... no love, from anyone or for anything. It's like living inside a TV when all that's on is static. Sometimes you get small bursts of something come through, and you think maybe you tuned into something accidentally, but it returns to static before you can even land on your ass gracefully.
People soon realize there's something wrong with you as a person, and give up on you entirely, leaving you alone in a sea of grey to swim against the currents of the void, ever reaching but never quite wanting to see what lies over the shores of the immediate horizon.
The next day is just another repeat.

Anon, barely anyone likes to hang out with someone that pities themselves and feels sad all the time. Not saying it's your fault, but that's just how things are and I know it is hard to control how you feel about things.
The only advice I can give is to try and strive to look for what makes you happy. Find out what things you do have in life that makes you happy, what you're passionate about. It doesn't matter how small or little it is, happiness has never been about how much you got anyway, so cherish what you got and give up on clinging onto the things that makes unhappy, be it insults or anger from others. Don't let those assholes dictate how YOU'RE supposed to feel,they're retards anyway if they think that what they do will somehow magically make you into a better person. Aint no one out there that's been successful in life while feeling insecure and terrible about themselves.
Friends are important, but they are not necessarily needed to be happy. Once you're happy with yourself and your life, friends is sure to come to you over time. A genuine smile can do so much for getting another person to like you more.
I know it can work, it worked for me, even managed to help a depressed woman overcome her worries and insecurities she felt, constantly worrying about pushing her friends away and constantly in the dumps. Not so much anymore as she's pretty damn happy now.
So go out and fuck the Universe right in its cosmic vagina with glee.

Here's an easy fix : don't eat anything for 2 days. Your hunger and instincts should kick in, and your first meal will be better.
Of course that's assuming you have some bare minimum of willpower to keep yourself from stuffing your face like a pig halfway through it. Only other help I can think of also requires some bare minimum of self-discipline, a lot of people would recommend you to work out or just start jogging or something.
Depression isn't some unbreakable curse, often it's just a slight hormone imbalance which can be caused by a variety of reasons. (Which I can't pinpoint without knowing you personally)
It could also be because you're not doing anything productive for example. Our bodies aren't used to lazing around all day, working/doing something can actually be healthy for you, so pick up a hobby or anything.
Well that's the extent I'm willing to try and "help" someone, which I've only really done because I used to be depressed myself 5 years ago and now I wish I could go back in time and slap myself since I wasted a lot of time I could've used to learn programming and a foreign languagewhich I'm doing now
