Okay so i am stuck with an old laptop for a couple of days until after new years eve, pic related.
Could you guys suggest me some games that i could play on it properly without low fps and stuff? My only requirements is that the games must not be doom tier old and not one of those super complex Europa Universalis type of games. I have a mouse if that matters.
The answer is always Quake.
Use a port like directquake meant to show it in its original form, not "improve" the graphics, hence ruining the atmosphere.

I mentioned in my first post i am not looking for that sort of games, i am only here for a couple of days and i won't have the time to learn them, also not a fan of that genre in general. I play pretty much everything else.

You don't need mods to get U1/UT99 running, but I recommend patch 227i for Unreal to make it more compatible with newer systems and UTGLR (google it) for UT to prevent the random speedups.
Also, change the controls before play, they default to the arrow keys.
