PC is probably more active online-wise, but honestly the port is pretty bad (30 or less fps, lower res textures), so if you go PC there's a handy mod called DSfix that will unlock it to 60 fps and improve the textures, making it a much better experience.

DaS1 I am very good I've run through it a few times. Demon Souls is a little harder to coop well because it works in a goofy way. DaS2 I just now put in for the first time.

Just started DaS2 after beating 1 and DeS. I loved my katana builds, but this game's engine seems very weird and off in a way. Anything I can do to my stats to help that?
I'm guessing dex builds will still be fine in this one, they're pretty much a mainstay by now. I've started wanderer in both previous games so I went swordsman this time because of its starting wanderer armor. All I need is to figure out the timing for rolls in this and I think I'll be fine.

It's pretty much the same, they just moved a few enemy spawns and added another disappointing boss fight. Also it has better graphical support, but there really isn't much noticeable difference. Only reason to get it is because I believe it includes all the DLCs (which are better than the main game imo).
Question: I've been thinking about doing a DS1 run using a weapon with minimum stats and upgrading it with an element.
Which weapon(s) should I use so I could get fire and lightning without leveling up too much but still wreck shit?

What's a fun Demon's Souls build that's viable and doesn't require a lot of grinding for materials? I beat the game twice and just ended up using a Dragon Long Sword +5 both times because it does decent enough damage to beat the game and doesn't require hours of grinding for those 0.01% stone drops

I can't be the only person on here who didn't really think Alonne was that special. As long as you somewhat know how to roll you're fine. And I'm not even talking about low equip load and max ADP either, I did it with my normal STR build at 60ish% equip load.
My favorite boss fight's are Fume or Ivory unfortunately. Fume was the best challenge I had and Ivory was the best overall when it came to atmosphere. The first time you drop down into the chaos and see that fucker walk out of it is one of the coolest fucking things I've ever seen in a souls game.

I played a bit of DES ages ago and All I rememebr ws a black blob who wouldnt die, and then ending up ina mineshaft with skeletons.
Combat was relaly sluggish and took forever, and I kepot dying ebcaue everything was faster then me. idk, just not fun, its not sluggish the way Mon hun is, and thats actually fun.

What I think both games did well was having a city be the backdrop. Like a legit city, not a series of houses like in Dark Souls 1 and 2. Cities are some of the best places to explore in vidya because you just naturally feel more attachment to them knowing that people used to reside there.

Beat Bloodborne, now I am playing through Dark Souls II: SotFS on PC. I just beat Lost Sinner. Both games aren't as good as DeS and DaS which are mostly equal in my eyes.

Because the of the dupe glitch, the only build that requires grinding is Dex. So use literally anything else. Faith is a good choice.

No it's actually quite a bit different. Here are some major things I noticed by playing BB and then DaS II:

>You get 20 of these healing items by default and there is a period after being hit where you can restore your health by inflicting damage on enemies
