installed game. go to start and get the following error:
The program can't start because MSVCP110.dll is missing from your computer.
I check. This is not the case. I do my due diligence and reinstalled said program.
nothing. reinstall the visual C++ redistributable.
still get this error.

Do you have any Nik Software plugins. Apparently there's a bug where if they're using the dll other programs can't use it.
If you have those get rid of them, then try it again.

i've already tried uninstalling all redistributables and reinstalled still with no results.
that's always been the issue in the past but this time that hasn't helped.

All I can think is something is using that dll. Nik Software plugins are for Photoshop, do you have that? Have you tried just manually downloading the file and placing it in the directory of the executable?

no photoshop. nothing adobe in fact.
i have the file in my system32. i've tried copying it and pasting it in the program's directory.
that fixes the error but then it gives me the following:

Go to C:\Windows\SysWOW64 location and delete the “msvcp110.dll” file. Now try to start the Application and the program will generate a new “msvcp110.dll” file used by it and you should be able to get the application working. Also delete the dll I told you to manually install.

the .dll is only missing from the 32 bit folder. not the 64 bit folder.
if i've installed both redistributables then why would it be missing?
also would it be checking for the 32bit .dll? or the 64?
