DMC and Bayo might not really be connected, but since Kamiya worked on both, there's bound to be homages. I was watching Kamiya's LP of Bayonetta a few days ago, and he was saying how Jeanne is meant to be a nod to Dante, with her red outfit and silver hair.
And VJ and W101 also might not be connected, aside from the implication that Pink and Silvia know each other in one of the easter eggs, but again, when the same guys work on the same projects and know their fans are likely to be the same main group of people, putting it references to those other games is going to get a smile out of most of their fans.
