I had a good friend I met in BF3 trying to get me back into 4 but it's definitely not the same game I spent 1200-1300 hours in.
But back when I played it was when the Ace-23 was one of the top weps. I hear it's the AEK now.

The SCARH SV is great, recoil and bloom are very easy to handle. Just put a heavy barrel on there.
The rest of DMRS are not worth looking into, sans maybe the SKS for it's spam fire cancer, but you might as well just use the AN94 at that point.

I'm talking about Engineer. Sometimes it's nice having a DMR for some maps because they're not as well suited for carbines or PDWs.
Most of the time though I don't use DMRs though.

For BF3/BF4, it's pretty much luck on winning matches. Some maps are so horribly balanced if you're on the wrong team, you're guaranteed to lose.
Other times you have to hope like hell there's no issues with team-stacking or AFKs, which can also easily affect wins.
The only people who get higher than 55-60 WR are people who play with groups.
