All Star Battle is fucking garbage and even with nothing to compare it to at the time no one was happy with its shit story mode and terrible gameplay. It's revisionist history to say ASB was good in any way. 90% of the content is fucking locked behind their shitty let's jew Japanese fans mode. The game constantly ran at sub 20fps when there was nothing that demanding or visually impressive about it. Go the that SBR stage and do ham on cutter with Will and see how much of a technical disaster that game is.
