Hi /v/, I won't be home until tomorrow, so I'm stuck with a pretty low-tier laptop until then.
What're you playing?
>>321667429
I'm just watching streams and eating sweets.
What kind of gaems do you like?
I was gifted SuperMeatBoy a couple hours ago, so thats what im playing on my toaster next.
hex.frvr.com or summonstrike.com, for your toaster laptop.
>>321668642
I have Super Meat Boy as well, might be worth booting it up again.
>>321668727
Thanks for the tips. What're you playing, anon?
>>321667429
Get a usb mouse and fire up reassembly.
>>321670868
Screenshots only take me so far - what's it about?
>>321669096
playing FF Tactics on emulator. :)
>>321672606
Having fun with it? I've heard it to be a pretty a-okay FF game.
>>321672839
I would pay $100 for a sequel
>>321672993Did you remember to buy the game before you emulated it?
>>321667429
nuts.wad

How do you even survive in that map?
>tfw can't get comfy
I'm always itchy and can't just sit in bed/couch and relax with TV or vidya
Any tips to fix this?
The first Diablo is a GOAT tier game you can play on a stone age laptop.
10/10. Would recommend. I'm probably not playing anything tonight, because my house looks like shit and my laundry isn't doing itself, no matter how much I want it to.

Why does your skin itch? Could be dry skin or some kind of hygiene issue - remember to moisturise if you find a tendency for dryness.
>>321673824
I do have a savegame worth booting up of that somewhere, thanks anon. Also saved the image
>>321674051
Shower daily, so I doubt its hygiene.
>>321674305
hot showers dry the skin....especially in winter. try lotion!
>>321674305
Dry skin might be a factor, then. Or maybe allergies.
Get a referral to a dermatologist.

Post screenshots with framerate counter.

I always play from the start. Something about the atmosphere of the first Diablo was so much better for me than the second. If you're looking for ultra comfy games to play on a shitty laptop though, you should look at The Settlers 2, 3 or 4. 4 is my favorite, but they're all good. Also, I know all the best sources of otters on the internet. My YouTube subscription page is 90% channels from various East Asian countries with fewer than 300 subs, who post nothing but otters. Video related

I used to play Settlers with my cousin ages ago, remember finding it very fun. I think I have the third one on-disk somewhere.
Also, hgnnnn that guitar when you enter the town for the first time.https://youtu.be/gXUcwprvldc?t=1m34sAnd I know what I'll be binging on a boring day from now on. Subbed.

Excellent suggestion. I keep Diablo, Fallout, and a host of old crpgs on my craptop just for those occasions. If you like rpgs all the old D&D games are small and require no graphics card at all yet provide hundreds of hours of fun. Also Wizardry, Might & Magic, Bard's Tale etc.

>If you like rpgs all the old D&D games are small
Do they still run on current systems?
>>321679764
Dosbox, you'll have to tweak it and them a little but yes. If not pirate the GOG versions.
Dosbox can run damn near anything as long as you tinker with it.

A'ight. I'm sold. Thread seems to be going a bit slow - I know the syntax needed to make stuff run on DOS, shouldn't be a problem.
Thanks for the recommendation.

No prob, if you hang on for a minute Ill get my list of games for cavemen
I can't get comfy because I have the flu. I've been vomiting bile for 3 days, can't eat anything, can't sleep for more than 30 minutes at a time, can't breathe. This sucks.
As for vidya, my buddy gifted me Gauntlet, so we're gonna bro-op it, and when it gets dark I'm gonna play Starflight. I'm thinking about pre-ordering Dragon's Dogma with my Xmas money. I just wish I could concentrate, this cold makes my brain fuzzy.

ADOM
Akalabeth
Bard's Tale series
D&D series
Daggerfall
Darklands
Dungeon Master
Fallout 1 +2
HOMM2, not sure about 3
Magic Candle
Might and Magic series
The Summoning - excellent if you can find it
Ultima series
Wasteland
Wizardry series
Roguelikes will also probably work, although they might crawl at points, so Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup, Dwarf Fortress, etc. could be options depending on the processor. I have a 1.7GHz i7 and they run fine.
Wolf 3D, Doom, Heretic, Hexen, Duke3D, Blood, Shadow Warrior, Redneck Rampage etc.
S/NES emulators will run, also most MAME games
Again depends on your craptop but you might give Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale and other Infinity Engine games a try; you'd be surprised what integrated graphics can swing.

Hope it passes soon, anon.
>>321682000
Aaaand saved - thanks. I'll probably download Fallout 1 soon, got the collection a while ago.
