Mechanically 4 shits on it, but the lack of weapons suck, I'm replaying 3 with the style switcher and love every second of it. There's only so many times I can do a lucifer setup without getting bored

The PC versions of 4 are the definitive versions.
3 is decent now because of Style Switcher Mod which optimizes the game even if you choose not to use Style Switcher.

Make sure to get that style switcher mod, it comes with graphic fixes too. Also you need to delete some sound files to make the game 60fps.

My PC's also really good yet I get fps issues all over the place. It's usually ok, but I'd still recommend the PS2 version instead. I haven't noticed a problem with input lag and the SS mod isn't at all necessary.

More like flickering between 60 and 40 whenever it feels like it, and this shit matters in these games(especially with turbo on).
I have a 970, 3.2 GHz CPU, and the SS mod, and it never drops below 60 when emulating it. Stop trying to make the port seem better than it is.
