All you fags caring about story in games as if any have ever been more than just decent "for a video game". Games are for mindless fun and if a games story evokes some kind of actual feeling for you, more than just a "huh didn't see that coming" you're an idiot and need to read a book. No game has a good story ever.
I really enjoyed BJ's inner monologues in this game. They felt natural and well timed. They were put in the spots of the game that might have felt more mundane.
Also this game was made by ex-Starbreeze developers I think. Over the course of what they've made, whether it be Escape from Butcher Bay, The Darkness, and this, they've proven to have one of the best understandings of what a first person perspective is capable of in both gameplay and cinematics.
Also man did the guns in this game feel satisfying. That automatic shotgun with the bullets that bounced of the walls. One of the sniper rifles, and that one laser gun you upgrade over the course of the game. All just brilliant.

Anya is probably going to be the main character, I was already thinking about this.
I dunno how to feel about it since even though I really like silent protagonists I thought Blasko was a really, really cool subversion/play on the whole "gruff stoic murder machine" character. Heck a large part of the point of the game is taking the invincible FPS character out of the equation for a decade or two and then just chucking him right back in and letting him have at it.
Anya's a girl who went about stealthily murdering single nazis for years, I dunno if she can take over Blasko's bombastic nazi-murder career and have it feel right. We'll see, assuming the protagonist is her and not iron woman.
