What are some good operator games, /v/?
No need to answer straight away. Take your time, finish your meal first.
Was this movie any good?
I like BDT
>>321637687
It's tense as fuck and he's great in it. Definitely check it out.
>>321637318
R6 Siege is new and fun multiplayer which catches that feeling.
SWAT 3/4 / R6 Rogue Spear to R6 3 titles are easily the best single player experiences.
>>321637687
Not really, it sucked.
>>321637687
Very tense, good acting, great cinematography, middling action scenes and godawful script, definitely recommended viewing along No Country For Old Men and Counselor.
>>321637687
It should fill you with hope for a decent Bladerunner sequel if you're a fan, so yes.
>>321638015
>Counselor
>bad script
>>32163801
There were some silly lines but to say it had a godawful script is ridiculous.
>>321638123
Read the post again. Take your time.
>>321638091
>mfw Villeneuve and Goose
I'm still skeptical, but they're two really good choices.
>>321637318
how was so fucking operator?
wasn't he just a prosecutor?

Any MGS.
MGSV gameplay provides maximum space to oper8
>>321639634
'maximum space' just dilutes good gameplay and removes challenge and need to carefully design maps.
>>321637318
Rainbow Six Vegas 2
Not siege, a runner up would be MGO2 but that plug has been pulled three years ago, now you'll need a jailbroken PS3 to play it

it's been said several times, but i must emphasize it. have you played swat 4? if not, torrent it and the expansion straight away. its still the best.

Why did they use the tunnel again? I understand that it was supposed to be some kind of black op, but why do they keep tracking him after he crossed the border with air reconnaissance? Do Mexicans not watch their skies?
>>321641852
>Much better gunfights.
Really? I didn't expect that movie to be much. I like michael mann so I have to check it out now
>>321642010
Movie isn't much but Mann is still in top form regarding action scenes. Villeneuve is quite dissapointing in that regard.
>>321641991

>>321642386
you can barely see anything because drones work more than a mile above the ground. Also that scene was at night iirc
no spic is going to be staring into the sun for hours unless they're working at a strawberry field looking out for god
>>321641991
Because they were to restore balance to the power of drug cartels. They fucking up alvaron or something stuff by hitting the tunnel plus helps our boy BDT get in.
>>321642607
>you can barely see anything because drones work more than a mile above the ground
Dude, you can see fucking ISS with naked eye. While air reconnaissance drones are not as big, they are still pretty fucking big to spot the speck at ~15 or more kilometers. It was at night, so I will give you that. But then again, it's not how we identify the aircraft.
>>321642786
I got that too, I just thought that one tunnel is not as significant as killing the head of the cartel, considering the global goal of getting another force in.
Is the tactical shooter genre dead?
thanks op, i'm eating chicken wings
*chimps out internally*
>>321643382
>rainbow six and global offensive are the most popular FPS games right now

>>321643382
It's undergoing a minor renaissance with Insurgency doing well, Siege not being another third person cover shooting action game, Squad entering EA and Ground Branch and Due Process to look forward to in the coming year.
I guess High Caliber 7.62 and Man of Prey both are kind of tactical.

>middle-aged lawyer
>magically becomes a world-class marksman/infiltrator in a matter of years

>somehow simultaneously a columbian
>works for a columbian cartel that doesn't exist in the timeframe of the film
>somehow characters who don't know him identify him as a member of this cartel by name, on sight, even though he wears no emblem
movie made no dang sense. good sound design and cinematography though. went downhill immediately after the opening scene. and the plot was way too on-the-nose, and way too "tell" instead of "show"
>we'll show some random events with zero context
>three times a character has to shout "whoa whoa whoa whoa hol' up!"
>plot is then explained in dialogue
was the script written by ayn rand? borlin was just a flat mouthpiece for the writer/director.
>>321638858
who is the seaman deamin'
>>321644668
I might be going on a limb here but I'm pretty sure mexicans and columbians have different accents and maybe noticed it?
Also medellin is the name of the colombian cartel and they may of adressed him as that. I could be wrong
>>321644668
>middle-aged lawyer

I bet you also believed them when they said they weren't CIA as well.
>>321644668
>middle-aged lawyer
He wasn't a lawyer. He was a sicario with a personal vendetta and even him working with USA makes sense from a economy point of view because if USA gets rid of the Mexican cartels Colombia gets a bigger slice of the drug-trade pie.
>works for a columbian cartel that doesn't exist in the timeframe of the film
Might be wrong but the only references to Medellin cartel appear 2 or 3 times when people see him and say "Medellin" which could perfectly refer to the incident with his wife and daughter happening back in the day or something more silly like him being a extremely well-known sicario.
>somehow characters who don't know him identify him as a member of this cartel by name, on sight, even though he wears no emblem

Insurgency
Squad/Project Reality (though I really dislike PR but what do I know)
Vietcong 1
Hidden and Dangerous 2
Brothers in Arms series
Also, please avoid fucking SWAT4. It's a meme game and babbys first tactical shooter, only rivaled by Vegas 2 in its plebbiness.

Is it still good playing solo?

That was a strange experience. Good movie, though.
>>321648087
expansion pack*, there is just one. and yes.
>>321648368
Nice.
So why is the SWAT IP in limbo again? What are the chances of someone actually doing something andrelease an HD version of it instead of raping it with a sequel that will probably be shit?
>>321648512
You can already play it in HD, look up pc wiki page, you can run it in 1080p.
And you can play multi with direct connect too
>>321648737
Thanks.
Have one last bump OP. So some anons can finish their dinner.
>>321648159
I remember seeing Van Helsing in cinema by myself. It was great
>>321648159
Its actually kind of strange, people are only just now talking about the movie, what the fuck happened. I also saw it in theater and there were only a few people, but now everyones talking about it and its been out for ages. What happened?
>>321650436
bluray just came out
>>321650436
Not him but,
I live in a 3rd world country which means a delayed release of the movie in theaters. Also a lot of stirng competition when it aired.
By the time I got interested there was already a rip of the movie and it was no in theatera anymore

Local movies this time of year kill any sort of competition. They even stopped featuring Star Wars: TFA to make room for the annual shit fest that is our own local awards for film (which btw uses the financial success of the film as a factor in determining the best picture category)
Fuck my spelling, I hate touch screens.
>>321646012
>He wasn't a lawyer.
no, he was. past tense is important though as he left his prosecutor life behind when his wife & daughter were killed, then he became who he is in the movie.
how did a lawyer get operator as fuck?

And please don't tell me it's because he said so because the whole movie is a constant stream of lies until the very end.
