I think the difference between Cage and what Remedy is trying to do is that Cage still implements interactivity into his stories
he's a pretentious nasal dipshit, but his games are still the equivalent of classic point-and-click adventure games
with Quantum Leap, Remedy seems to treat the live-action element as a higher medium than their own gameplay and interactive design.
Like in the 90's with games that were riddled with FMV's, they seem to think of it as a reward for the player, while I think it's been fairly well established that contemporary players usually hate that kind of approach, since the in-engine technology of many games have already demonstrated the capacity of telling good stories

He didn't say the stories were good, or that they had any reemable parts. Its very clear what minor interactive games like everything TellTale makes and everything Cage makes are just to push a story through.
For both creators the only thing that was ever decent in this "medium" is Walking Dead Season 1 and Until Dawn, and UD was probably only executed well because its a horror genre. Cage hasn't made a single good game yet.
