I just want to play some fucking video games, and all my friends own a ps4, so is the paid online as bad as it sounds? Is psn as shit as it was on ps3? Is the remoteplay to psvita very good?

It is perfectly fine. I have an excellent PC, but do most of my gaming on the PS4. The paid online isn't really a problem for me. I get it a year at a time, all it means is that I'm going to buy one less game a year, but it ends up working out because I'm near guaranteed to get at least a couple good games out of plus. I also really like the Uncharted series, and am quite excited for Uncharted 4. I really enjoyed the beta, and felt a void when they turned it off. I prefer Sony's first party games over Microsoft and Nintendo.

Depends on the game, I personally didn't have much latency issues on the PS3 but it sure as fuck isn't any better on PS4. Siege has a godawful noticable movement tick rate for instance, which is especially bad on the PS4 since most of the game requires you to pay for a ps+ sub

I think it is worth it, it has good multiplats since it is the most powerful console this gen and is probably becoming the only one as well. Also, people may shit on the current exclusives but they can be pretty fun, not 10/10s but definetly above average.
