Anyone play the Mother 2 anniversary hack that takes out the "Check" command, updates some battle graphics and revamps the difficulty?
Truth be told, it's more frustrating than challenging. Some battles are doable and it even encourages you to use different strategies but sometimes shit's just unnecessary like giving non-Flash attacks Flash-like properties (prepare to get raped by Thunder and Storm) and enemies you didn't think much of give you something to remember them by.
It's a mixed bag and some item names have changed to reflect the Japanese version but if you're looking for a twist in a future playthrough or some difficulty without low-level running it, probably give it a go.

From what I read in one of their blog posts they feel the need to re-do shit or that they decide the game isn't ready for release. Honestly just what we've seen from the trailers shows that they at least have quite a bit mapped out.
