Explain how they did this, because in my opinion the game looks worse because they went for "realism" before they realized that consoles couldn't handle it, and cut corners.
No, colour pallet isn't derivative of style. It looks fucking tacky with what they've done. So many things look flat because they literally are and they didn't try to hide it. So many things clash because it's clearly obvious that they didn't know what to do with the artsyle.

They're a business first, not your best buddies. Many of those packages could have been made within a few hours by a single intern, or even before release. But it's served to you on a silver platter for free, as the server stands there and expects you to thank him hundreds of times over.
