Typing gateway brings me to the options to mess with firewall while putting in "Your ip" when searching on sites like canyouseeme.org has an actual IP that isn't the default gateway

that is completely normal and how the internet works.
you open ports in your router to your pcs local ip dress.
it works like this.
internet -------- isp ------ router (your network) ---- your pc
your router is blocking most ports from the internet to your network.
opening a port from your router to your pc opens up the port to the internet.

my router actually does not open up ports until they are actually used.
i checked with nmap and canyouseeme. yours might just need some time to update though this is not typical behavior of routers.
mines pretty enterprise grade.
consumer routers should not do this.
host a game and check your ports again.
