Depends on what your definition of "fun" is. It has a solid grind with solid battle system. VN part is colorful to look at, but there's not much story to it other than "am I kawaii, uguu~". Rebirth 1 is a standalone story and complete re imagining of the first Hyperdimension Neptunia, which was also made non canon. The story is fun and people consider it better than Rebirth 2&3 which took the old NISA scripts and Jokes then cleaned up some of the phrasing.
They all use an improved engine from the 3rd game and since the original had a different layout, it borrowed assets from the 2nd and 3rd game.
For $6 you're getting a lot of game.

Rebirth 3 has all DLC included aside from a $.99 one that speeds up a time based collection thing. That alone is worth the cost.
Storywise, the intro was re-done to connect it more to MK2/RB2, but nothing changes until after the True Ending where two scenarios were added alongside the DLC events.

I don't buy hentai figures, but I do like vidya and anime figs/merch. Shes bought me a few actually. The Fire Emblem Tharja figure is probably the "lewdest" thing I own anyway, not that its really even that bad. But as I said, thats part of the reason one would want to hide their power level.

I don't understand. I played this game on hard mode and I never had to grind except to finish the level 999 arena bullshit. There were some segments that were hard and definitely just felt like stat checks (Item/skill blocker boss) but just trying to do those fights several times eventually ended with me going through the non-post game without much trouble otherwise.
