I had the itch to play a FPS for awhile now and got this + the new order for $15.

Expect some silly fetch quests in between murdering Nazis.
I personally couldn't finish it because the Nazisploitation got to be too much, but it's like Inglorious Basterds meets DOOM.

Play Old Blood since it's a prequel and it's also inferior to New Order so going from Old Blood to New Order feels like very natural progression.
Great game slightly marred by lack of good bosses and stupid laserkraftwerk
good but I got some weird performance issues combined with low GPU usage, VSYNC is broken, the story is interesting enough for a shooter

One of the best FPSs made in the last 10 years.
Game is easy but the damage feels really unbalanced and broken on uber. Like sometimes you can tank a ton of bullets and sometimes you die instantaneously almost. Enemies spawns are done poorly in quite a few spots as well.

It's chronologically BEFORE New Order.
New Order will SPOIL Old Blood for you.
It has LESS weapons, WORSE mechanics and is in like every single way worse than New Order since it was intended to be the prologue that they cut out to sell as DLC. It's literally 3-4 hours long.
You're doing yourself a major disservice by not playing it first.

I thought what I played of TNO was fun, but the game is so fucking awfully optimized.
I got to the Moonbase and just fucking quit.
Keep in mind I can pick up GTA V or any other more recent AAA game, and run them on the highest settings, but nope, TNO runs like ass.
Not to mention it crashes like, once every 30 minutes.

It's fun until it forces you through shitty stealth levels, fetch quests, and "storytelling" levels that are the very definition of filler. There's seriously a huge chunk in the middle where you don't even have a gun.
A great game bogged down by one of the shittiest engines iD has ever produced.

It's amazing when you consider what they managed to pull off and for what the engine was made.
The engine was made SPECIFICALLY for PS3 and X360.
And guess what, RAGE and New Order both run at 60 FPS on consoles. Something that can't be said about like 99% of the PS360 library.
The gameplay felt pretty damn excellent on Uber, especially since enemies tended to aim where you had poked out last, so popping out of cover in different spots was pretty key. They also flanked, which was pretty cool.
