Lisa really isn't that much bigger when you consider that every ending in Undertale has a good deal of unique content. Also for both of them very little of their budget actually was invested in the game itself. Some was obviously, Toby paid some other artists and Dingaling paid another musician but most of it was so the two of them could live without working so that they could work on the game as a full time job. Which means Ding would just have had to live on a smaller budget.

The only endings with substantial differences are Genocide and True Pacifist. The only differences between each neutral ending is how Sans converses with you in the call and who joins him and this is all decided by who you choose to kill and not kill.
Doing neutral runs like this consecutively gets boring as well as there are only really minor changes to dialogue or events but everything else remains largely the same.
