Anyone have experiences refunding on Steam? How long does it take to receive a response?
Anything you have refunded recently?
I hope that lemur eats that guy's hand.
I asked for a refund on Phantom Breaker on Wednesday afternoon. Got confirmation of it on the Friday morning.

Refunded Crysys Pack for $7,50. It took 12hr to aprove the refund and 24hr more till the money was in my steam wallet (before that it showed as pending). I gotta say is a pretty good system.

Requested a refund for Strider during the autumn sale. Took about 3-4 days before they reimbursed it.

It's a bit of a pain to go through your transaction history since steam's interface isn't great for that. When you find it, click on "there is an issue with this transaction" or something, then you'll have various options, one of which is refunds. You'll be asked to give a reason (such as "it wasn't what I expected"), and then they'll take various things into account like how long you've owned it, how much you played, etc. I refunded some shit I got in a sale that was absolute garbage, it took only a few hours for the refund to be approved, which gives you "pending" money in your steam wallet. Then after a few days you get the full refund. I then tried to refund shit games I'd bought years ago, but since those transactions were so old I couldn't get the refund.
tl;dr it's a bit awkward but it's possible, usually takes a few days for a full refund.

I refunded a 10$ the day after I bought it. I played it for about 2 hours before requesting a refund. It was approved after about 4 hours and I got my money back after about 4 days.
