Don't listen to that faggot. It is actually good for your back if you support if from the front of your body. Sitting on a chair/sofa and leaning forward, putting your arms on your legs to support your weight is also one of the best postures for your back.

The most important things for your back are:
1) Don't sit in the same position for too long.
2) Don't sit in a way that puts excess stress on your lower back, e.g. extending your buttocks past your chest.
As long as you do that, you're fine in just about any position.
