Lulu's belts were peak Nomura stupidity. He literally only added that shit so they could brag on how good their cutscene animators were. But they were naturally so incredibly time-consuming to animate that they had to go out of their way to avoid showing them. Otherwise 90% of the budget would have gone to animating fucking belts.
So she appears very little in cutscenes and is only ever shown from the tits-up or from behind when she does (apart from the one money shot when she is introduced and I think one late-game cutscene). In a cutscene-heavy game, this drastically limited her involvement in the plot. She was Khimari-tier levels of useless.
