What is wrong with me /v/?
I am physically unable to play any game that is meant to be scary, and many games that aren't meant to be scary, because I am so overly scared by anything spooky. Even if I know it's coming I will be spooked as fuck. Even in shitty pixel games where anything "scary" happens to the pixel character in game I will be spooked as fuck over this pixely character I'm trying to save. This extends to movies and books too, I avoid anything scary like the plague.
Even in regular games like an FPS I will be spooked as shit when some fucker randomly and unexpectedly hops out from a doorway/shows up, I distinctly remember several times many a year ago in Team Fortress 2 where something akin to this happened and I was spooked. I played some Rainbow Six Siege the other day and I still react like this. I'm also anxious as fuck and start fucking shaking and sweating and my heartrate going into the hundreds whenever something straining is happening and I want to not fuck up.
Basically, when I play a game it's like I'm perceiving myself as being the player, and reacting accordingly, it's not good.
