This, the whole reason Cloud is in Avalanche is because Tifa wanted Cloud close to keep an eye on him, she could tell he had lost it and was worried about him, but didn't have the nerve to call him on it. When he finally snapped she wanted to be there for her friend and had once again grown close to him after their time together.

Are you this delusional? No amount of CRT blurring is going to fix Zidane from looking like a jumble of pixels. None. FF7 is much more simple but it played to the limits of the PS1 much better. Upscaled I totally 100% agree that FF9 looks better, but you're a blithering idiot if you think that not only Zidane looks okay in that screenshot, but that him looking that detailed and like that was worth the terrible impact the graphics had on the game's sluggish performance.
