They are extremly good for 1080p.
But at that price point a 390 does everything better. If the GTX 970 would drop to the 300 area I would buy it. But as we all know when Pascal hits the market Nvidia will gimp this card to a R9 270x performance level. The greed is real
someone needs to post a benchmark where 3.5 significantly hurts the 970 while leaving its competitors unscathed.
